Initiated and led by the Egyptian youth, with the use of social media such as Facebook and Twitter, they managed to convince millions of people to take to the streets to demand their fundamental human rights, as the world watched them achieve the impossible. One Light, One World was the official film of the 1992 winter Olympics. I shot a large proportion of the footage in this segment, along with Bill Evans and Kenny Bernardini who also produced and edited for Joe Jay Jalbert Productions, New York.

It's a 'retour aux sources' for both film maker Trevor Avedissian and Egyptian born Australian comedian Akmal Saleh, while on assignment shooting the Egyptian revolution doco 'Pharoah vs The Egyptians'.
